Sessions are taught in small groups, with the emphasis on skills that can be carried forward into everyday lives. With more than 17 years’ experience in education, Lisa offers classes after-school, during the school day as part of the PE or PSCHE curriculum, and to teachers during PPA time.
WORKSHOPS FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS
YogaPebbles also runs one-off yoga workshops for Cub/Scout/Rainbow and Brownie/Guide groups, or other community groups locally.
From jungle and Little Mermaid to circus and superhero – come and have fun with friends with an Easter or summer holiday workshop based on a different theme each day. Holiday workshops include crafts such as dreamcatcher and sensory jar making, and there’s always lots of party games and relaxation.
HAPPY ME, HAPPY YOU
A brand new workshop for parents and children over 7yrs. As well as exploring beautiful connecting poses and promoting attachment, the sessions focus on the trickier aspects of growing up and help to alleviate and provide tools and techniques to practise together at home. Session themes have included anxiety relief, transition and change, communication and self- esteem. Currently running three times a year.
If you would like a more personal class, tailored specifically to your child or family needs, we also offer one-to-one sessions at home. These are particularly beneficial for children with additional needs or emotional/behavioural difficulties. These sessions involve an initial assessment and then a block of six classes. Price on request, and concessions available.
Lisa is undergoing her adult yoga training in September and will be able to offer classes for over 18s from October 2020. Watch this space!
If you are unable to attend a workshop, we will be happy for you to send a friend in your place. But due to the popularity of our classes, refunds or date transfers are unavailable.
+ Please note: due to the popularity of these particular classes, payment is due at the start of each block to secure your child’s place. Drop-in sessions are only available, subject to availability.
