I bring news of a lovely new yoga for anxiety workshop for parents and carers, which will be held on Sunday July 11th.
This will be a two-hour workshop for parents focussing on how to support your anxious child with the tools of yoga. Expect some gentle movement explorations, learn some yoga shapes and breathing techniques specifically to help lower anxiety levels.
This yoga for anxiety class is especially good for those parents whose children are anxious about transition to a new class or a new school, supporting sleep routines and those who lack self-esteem. There will be a chance to share experiences, ask questions and seek support from each other. No yoga experience necessary.
The workshop is suitable for parents of children who are school aged, primary and secondary. Places will be limited and are first come, first served.
